Activities

Senior Activities:
Progressive Euchre is held most every Friday from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. All ages welcome!

Preschool Age Activities:
During the school year, the recreation center offers Storytime. This program is designed to prepare your child for pre-school and kindergarten. This program is offered on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m. Storytime begins again September 19th, 2007 and will continue through May 21th, 2008.

Summer Activities:
The Johnstown Recreation Center offers open recreation every Monday - Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Parks & Recreation

The Village of Johnstown offers many recreational programs throughout the year. Most programs are held at the Recreation Center, 185 West Maple Street.Unless noted, all programs are free of charge to the families of Johnstown residents or those who are employed within the Village boundaries. ACTIVITY FEES: $35.00 per family for all activities for in town residents and $45.00 per family for out of town residents. Individual activity fees are $2.00 per lesson per child for in town residents or $3.00 per lesson per child for out of town residents.

CORN HOLE GAME!!!!

The Recreation center is offering The Corn Hole game. We have purchased two sets of the game to be used in the old horseshoe pit area. However, due to increased vandalism around the Recreation Center, we decided not to place the Corn Hole games outside...if you would like to play during business hours, please see Jean Moyer to sign out the game for use on the premisis.

WEIGHT WATCHERS!!!!

Weight Watchers are now meeting at the Recreation Center every Monday night from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
